Q.Pro Technical Services Announces Purchase by Met, Inc., a Leading Provider of
Advanced Ultrasonic Testing Solutions and Asset Management Software

Houston, Texas - Q.Pro Technical Services announced today that Met, Inc., an industry-
leading provider of advanced nondestructive testing (NDT) technologies and automated
ultrasonic testing (AUT) systems and services, and developer of asset management
software, has purchased a majority ownership of the company, with plans to invest
significantly in the business over the next four years.

Richard L. Hilyard, president and co-founder of Q.Pro Technical Services, will remain as president and the company name will not change. “This infusion of new capital will allow us to rapidly expand our service capabilities and better serve our current customers and our ability to pursue new opportunities,” he said. “We are very excited to be joining the Met, Inc. family of companies, and feel that our combined organizations’ core focus on advanced NDT services and asset integrity management programs will further enhance our ability to meet our clients’ growing needs.
